This might not be as neat as the Saab cup holders but this proves they are the best cup holders I’ve personally encountered.

As I walked to my car, half full Red Bull in hand, I thought to myself “my cup holder will be too big. This tiny can will shake around and surely spill its sticky contents all over my nice tan interior. I was greeted with a pleasant surprise. This made my day. This reminded me that Mini and Red Bull had a deal, some and BMW owns Mini. So maybe this cup holder actually was specifically designed with this container in mind as it’s smallest setting.

Also this Donut Media bit about the history of automotive cup holders is actually pretty neat.

I remember those Red Bull Minis. I wanted to be one of the drivers, but the bases for them weren’t close to me.

Yeah, it sadly seems to be a thing of the past. The website for it just redirects to the US Red Bull site.

I love it. The position is perfect. And I haven’t had anything fall out of one yet. From Red Bull can to McDonald’s Large Coke. They do kind of intrudeon your passenger’s personal space tho

It have learned to dislike them. I still don’t hate them tho.  I’m mostly annoyed because I’ve been drinking ginger beer in a glass bottle and it just doesn’t work for those bottles. But 90% they work fine
